Having served as in-house counsel for Quilogy, Inc., a successful information technology company with offices across the Midwest and Western United States for almost 10 years, Rick Massey knows and understands the legal challenges small and mid-size businesses face.
He has a wide range of experience in business law as it relates to brick and mortar as well as internet and e-commerce related issues, intellectual property law, leasing and other real estate transactions, contract and business litigation.

He contributed to the creation and implementation of business and policy decisions as an active member of Quilogy's senior executive team from 2006 until the acquisition of the company by Aspect Software in 2010. Believing that the common tools of the legal profession are not as accessible to small business owners and other ordinary people as they should be, Mr. Massey founded Missouri Legal Solutions™ to offer twenty-first century alternatives to the traditional all or nothing, take it or leave it models still followed by most law firms. He believes clients deserve affordable options, such as alternatives to hourly billing, limited scope representation, and the other modern tools that many law firms still resist making available to thier clients.
Because his passion has always been for helping the people behind the business, Mr. Massey did not limit his practice to helping companies alone. Along the way, he has represented numerous individuals with their personal needs and challenges in family law, consumer law, and estate planning. His St. Charles practice helps small businesses and individuals with their personal and professional challenges.
Mr. Massey earned his B.A. in Corporate Communications at Lindenwood University and his J.D. at St. Louis University.
He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the St. Charles County Bar Association, the Business Law Committee, the Technology and Computer Law Committee, the Elder Law Committee, the Family Law Section, and the Solo and Small Firm Practice Committee of the Missouri Bar Association.
